Obtain a copy of the Matlab
tutorial Matlab Primer,
Third Edition, by Kermit Sigmon (also posted on the "Resources"
page), read it while following all listed examples (e.g., actually
entering the MatLab code into Matlab). Submit a copy of all the
code you have entered in order to show that you have actually
experimented with Matlab. You can submit a printed copy with your lab
or you can also submit an electronic version of the corresponding ".m"
file (save the session etc.). The purpose of this exercise is to
have you actually experiment with Matlab - reading the manual alone is
not enough! You must code in order to learn Matlab or any other
programming language. As far as this exercise goes, there will be
no mark on correctness. A grade will be given provided you submit
the required deliverables and I see you have made a descent attempt
trying out some (more than two or three of course) of the examples in
the tutorial.
