Who I Am

I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University. I'm also the Master at Norman Bethune College.

I graduated with a PhD from the University of Toronto in 1989 and did a post-doc at AT&T Bell Labs, Murray Hill, for a year and a half. I came to York in 1990.

My Research Interests

Computer graphics. Realistic image synthesis. Ray tracing, shading, illuminant models, antialiasing. Here are my publications and some images that I've created over the years. Also available is a copy of the Siggraph 1989 animation "Megacycles".

As I spend most of my time in administration, I no longer supervise graduate students.
