Divine Providence
Your Father knows what you need before you
ask Him. [Matthew
6:8]
And my God will meet all your needs according
to His
glorious riches in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 4:19]
Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it
is the
Lord’s purpose that prevails. [Proverbs 19:21]
[Our Father in heaven] give us today our daily bread. [Matthew 6:11]
Cast your cares on the Lord and He will
sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall. [Psalm 55:22]
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. [Matthew 7:7]
But first seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. [Matthew 6:33]
But when he asks, he must believe and not
doubt,
because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by
the wind.
That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is
a
double-minded man, unstable in all he does. [James 1:6-8]
When you ask, you do not receive, because you
ask
with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. [James
4:3]
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give
you
the desires of your heart. [Psalm 37:4]
In all your ways acknowledge the Lord, and He will make your paths straight. [Psalm 3:6]
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. [Proverbs 16:3]
I will go before you and will level the
mountains; I
will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will
give you
the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you
may know
that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. [Isaiah
45:2-3]
[Jesus said:] I am the vine; you are the
branches.
If a
man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit … If you remain
in me
and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given
you. [John
15:5,7]
[Jesus said:] Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. [John 14:27]
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you [Lord] are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me. [Psalm 23:4]
The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid? [Psalm 27: 1]
And we know that in all things God works for
the
good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His
purpose. [Romans
8:28]
There is no fear in love. But perfect love
drives
out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is
not made
perfect in love. [1 John 4:18]
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever
you face
trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith
develops
perseverance. Perseverance must finish its works so that you may be
mature and
complete, not lacking anything. [James 1:2-4]
[Jesus said:] Come to me, all you who are
weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your
souls. For
my yoke is easy and my burden is light. [Matthew 11:28-30]
[Jesus said:] If anyone would come after me,
he must deny
himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save
his
life, will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the
gospel will
save it. [Mark 8:34-35]
Be still before the Lord and
wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they
carry out their wicked schemes. [Psalm 37:7]
Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him. [Psalm 32:10]
Weeping may remain for a
night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. [Psalm 30:5]
I am still confident of
this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for
the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. [Psalm
27:13-14]
When Abram was ninety-nine
years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk
before me and be blameless. I will confirm my covenant between me and
you and will
greatly increase your numbers. [Genesis 17:1-2]
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind
has
conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him. [1
