Additional Office Hours Added - see below:

Monday May 21 2001 - 12:00pm - 2:00pm if CCB is opened.

Tuesday May 22 2001 office hours will be extended
from 11:30am - 1:30pm.

we could find an empty room.

Instructor will be away at a conference from Tuesday May 8 2001 (late afternoon)
until late night Saturday May 12 2001. Any email you may leave during
this period may not necessarily be answered!

There was some confucsion regarding the correct use of Casting. The
follow ing notes (in PDF format) describe
the rules for conversion of one reference type to another. A detailed
description of when an explicit cast is required and when it is not is
provided in addition to Java code examples.

keys implement the Comparable interface! The Coparable interface
and the Comparator are two different ways of comparing keys of items in
